Objective:
This marketing strategy proposal seeks to boost Simuero's online sales by enhancing its digital presence and cultivating a community of loyal customers aligned with the brand's slow-fashion values.
About:
Simuero is a Spanish jewelry brand dedicated to handcrafted pieces inspired by the natural world. Challenging the fast fashion industry, Simuero emphasizes a slow-fashion approach that prioritizes quality, craftsmanship, and eco-friendly materials. Each piece is designed to reflect the elegance and complexity of nature, making Simuero a celebration of individuality and sustainable fashion.
Problem Space:
Through a Google Analytics audit, I identified a high bounce rate of 54–59% on Simuero's website, indicating a significant volume of unintended traffic that was distorting engagement metrics and reducing the effectiveness of their digital marketing efforts.
Approach:
I developed a four-part digital marketing strategy to address Simuero's core challenges:
1. Strengthen Digital Presence & Audience Targeting
Eliminate irrelevant traffic by reviewing and correcting backlinks to ensure accurate visitor tracking
Implement SEO strategies focused on relevant keywords such as sustainable jewelry, handcrafted jewelry, and ethical jewelry
2. Redesign & Improve Website Engagement
Implement intuitive navigation, high-quality visuals, clear calls-to-action, and optimized loading times to decrease bounce rates
Feature deals and new collections prominently on the landing page to improve conversion
3. Develop a Digital Marketing Strategy
Email marketing: Initiate a personalized email strategy using MailChimp to encourage repeat purchases and improve customer retention
Paid advertising: Launch Google Ads campaigns targeting customers searching for sustainable and handcrafted jewelry
Influencer collaborations: Partner with influencers who embody Simuero's ethos to expand reach within the target demographic
4. Strengthen Customer Loyalty
Introduce loyalty rewards and VIP campaigns to foster lasting relationships with existing customers
Increase brand visibility by engaging in forums, events, and blogs that advocate for sustainable fashion

Solution:
This strategy proposed a comprehensive approach to Simuero's digital growth, addressing bounce rate issues through technical SEO and website redesign, building a loyal community through email marketing and influencer partnerships, and expanding platform presence to reach new audiences. If implemented, these initiatives would position Simuero as a credible leader in the sustainable jewelry space while meaningfully improving online sales and customer retention.
Improving my process
My research identified Pinterest as Simuero's primary social platform, which, while aligned with their aesthetic, limits overall reach. I recommended expanding to Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, prioritizing video content to connect with a younger audience and drive engagement across multiple platforms.
To further strengthen future strategies, I would incorporate tools like Hotjar to conduct user research and gather direct audience feedback through interviews, enabling more precise, data-driven adjustments and a deeper understanding of customer behavior.
